This week we return to our series in Proverbs as we are refreshed in the wisdom of God. We'll be looking at Proverbs 3:19-26. What if the wisdom that laid the foundations of the earth is available to us? What if we could have access to that wisdom and live our lives according to it? This is what Proverbs is all about - the wisdom of God that cuts through the noise of the world. But as we study Proverbs we encounter a problem: are these promises or principles? How can you tell? We'll learn together that, ironically, it takes wisdom to interpret God's wisdom, that wisdom requires relationship, and relationship requires trust! Can we trust God when he keeps our foot from being caught in the snare (Proverbs 3:26) as well as when he allows us to stumble?

Will you be the next Kid Zone helper?
As we "Go for 2" this fall and Sunday School hour begins, Kid Zone needs additional help caring for our kids! So, we're looking for volunteers for the Sunday School hour, from 10:00-11:00. If you're able to help out a couple of times this fall semester, you'll still be able to attend a Sunday School class of your choosing. Check this video out for more info, and if you're interested in helping disciple our kids, reach out to Michael at michaelb@northminster.us.

Each week, students come together to play games, enjoy snacks, and build meaningful friendships—but the heart of everything we do is helping students know Jesus and grow in their faith. |

Kicking off August 17 during our 2nd hour for Middle School & High School Students is our series "Trueish".
It's an 8 weeks Apologetics Root that focuses on some statements that are commonly believed to be biblical, but aren't. It's important that we don't mishandle the Word of God. If we are going to say, "Well, the Bible says...," then the Bible better say it. We also need to know the difference between truth and half-truths.
