We live in a culture that tells us, "Hold on tighter, keep more, and look out for yourself." But God's Word calls us to something better...to live with open hands. Open hands towards others and open hands towards God. And when we do, He promises that we will not run dry. Instead, we will be refreshed, we will flourish, and we will leave behind a legacy that matters.
Join us this Sunday, as we discover how to treat others with generosity and kindness in Proverbs 11:25-28. Are you living with open hands?

Will you be the next Kid Zone helper?
As we "Go for 2" this fall and Sunday School hour begins, Kid Zone needs additional help caring for our kids! So, we're looking for volunteers for the Sunday School hour, from 10:00-11:00. If you're able to help out a couple of times this fall semester, you'll still be able to attend a Sunday School class of your choosing. Check this video out for more info, and if you're interested in helping disciple our kids, reach out to Michael at michaelb@northminster.us.

Each week, students come together to play games, enjoy snacks, and build meaningful friendships—but the heart of everything we do is helping students know Jesus and grow in their faith. |

Middle School & High School Students are focusing in on our series "Trueish".
It's an 8 weeks Apologetics Root that focuses on some statements that are commonly believed to be biblical, but aren't. It's important that we don't mishandle the Word of God. If we are going to say, "Well, the Bible says...," then the Bible better say it. We also need to know the difference between truth and half-truths.

Women of all ages and stages of life are invited to participate in our Bible Study starting Sept. 9. Whether this is your first time or you’ve been coming for years, your leaders Pat Hegwood and Kim Holdham want you to join our community of Christ followers as we consider what Jesus said and did, and why it matters to our daily lives. This year, we are walking through the entire book of Luke. We meet Tuesdays from 9:00 to 11:00 am in room 118 (Zoom also available). Although the lessons build on each other, we recognize that everyone has busy lives. Each lesson can stand on it’s own, so we encourage you to just come when you can!
$10 per book, drop money off at the office. |
